Starting November, taxi fares in Ajman will see a small increase of 0.2 fils per kilometer, bringing the rate to Dh1.77 per kilometer, up from October’s Dh1.75, according to an announcement from the emirate’s transport authority on October 31.
This fare adjustment follows two consecutive months of declining rates. The change is aligned with the latest fuel prices across the UAE, which also take effect on November 1. New fuel rates include Super 98 petrol at Dh2.74 per liter, up from Dh2.66 in October; Special 95 petrol at Dh2.63 per liter, up from Dh2.54; and E-Plus 91 at Dh2.55 per liter, up from Dh2.47.
For motorists, this means a full tank will cost between Dh4.08 and Dh6.66 more compared to last month, depending on the type of vehicle.
