Henry Cavill, renowned for his role as Superman, recently revealed on Instagram that he is soon to become a father. In a Father’s Day post, the 41-year-old actor shared a selfie with a wooden crib and a cabinet filled with baby supplies in the background.
“Happy Father’s Day, ye dads out there,” Cavill wrote. “Turns out I shall be joining your hallowed ranks soon! Any tips?”
Adding his signature humor, Cavill referenced his involvement in the upcoming series adaptation of the game “Warhammer 40,000.” He joked, “And don’t worry, pillows won’t be in the crib when the wee one arrives, just glue and scalpels so he or she can build Warhammer miniatures.”
In response, Cavill’s girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso, commented, “I couldn’t ask for a better man to be the father to my children – I can’t wait to do this with you!!” Her heartfelt message has garnered over 16,000 likes.
The couple went public with their relationship on Instagram in April 2021. The expected baby will be their first child together.
Cavill first donned the Superman cape in the 2013 film “Man of Steel” and last portrayed the superhero in 2017’s “Justice League.” Natalie Viscuso, a Hollywood executive, currently serves as the VP for Television and Digital Studios at Legendary Entertainment.
