The Philippines is gearing up to make a strong impression at the Abu Dhabi International Food Expo 2025, with the official launch of the Philippine Pavilion featuring the Province of Sultan Kudarat scheduled for October 21 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
Part of Global Food Week 2025, the Halal-friendly Philippine Pavilion will shine a spotlight on Sultan Kudarat’s finest products — from agricultural staples to value-added food innovations — all rooted in Filipino authenticity and excellence.
Carrying the theme “Pang-SK ang lasa, pang-buong mundo ang kalidad!”, the pavilion underscores the province’s aim to showcase world-class products that meet international halal standards while remaining proudly Filipino.
Leading the Philippine delegation is Hon. Datu Pax Ali Mangudadatu, the Governor of Sultan Kudarat, who will personally fly to Abu Dhabi for the event. At just 28, he is the country’s youngest sitting governor and serves as the province’s chief executive. A strong advocate of agricultural advancement and inter-agency cooperation, Governor Mangudadatu has been instrumental in strengthening Sultan Kudarat’s coffee industry and tourism initiatives under Region 12.
Organizers said the participation highlights the Philippines’ expanding role in the global food trade, emphasizing local pride, cultural richness, and sustainable agricultural practices. Visitors are expected to experience firsthand the province’s signature flavors and craftsmanship — each product “rich, authentic, and proudly Filipino.”
