Starting May, OFWs can access 800 online contract verification slots weekly in Dubai

The Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Dubai has streamlined its contract verification process effective May 1, 2025, under Advisory No. 07, Series of 2025, limiting the options to two key methods while expanding its online capacity to better serve Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

The changes are aimed at reducing congestion at MWO-Dubai’s office while encouraging early processing through digital means.

Two updated options for contract verification

OptionDescriptionWho Can Use It
Option 1: Online Submission of Documents– 800 slots open every Monday at 8:00 AM through the MWO Dubai website and Facebook page.
– Submission closes once slots are filled or by Wednesday at 11:59 PM.
– Processing time: 11 working days.
– Results are posted with scheduled dates for collection and payment.
OFWs with visas issued in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, or working in these areas.
Option 2: Walk-In (1 Working Day Before Flight)– OFWs must visit exactly one working day before their confirmed flight.
– For weekend flights, visit on the nearest weekday prior (e.g., Thursday or Friday).
– If already in the Philippines, OFWs may authorize a representative (with proper documents) to complete the process.
OFWs who:
• Have confirmed flights the next day
• Missed online submission
• Are already in the Philippines and unable to verify prior to departure
