St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dubai has released its latest parish announcements, highlighting various events and activities for parishioners.
Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
The church will celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Sunday, September 8, 2024. A concelebrated High Mass is scheduled for 6:15 pm, followed by a cultural program at the Portico. All parishioners are cordially invited to attend.
Altar Servers Sodality – New Batch Registration
Parishioners interested in enrolling their children in the Altar Servers Sodality are encouraged to register online on the parish website. Registration starts today, Sunday, August 25. A Parish Registration number is required for enrollment. An orientation session for parents and children will be held on Sunday, September 1, at 4:00 pm in Bishop Paul Hinder Hall.
August Wedding Anniversary Mass
A special Mass for couples celebrating their wedding anniversaries in August will be held on Monday, August 26, at 7:00 pm. Couples wishing to participate can register on the parish website.
CCD Announcements
Interviews for the New Catechists Training Course will be conducted on August 24 and 25, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the CCD Office.
Renewals and new registrations for children’s catechism for the 2024-2025 year will be temporarily suspended from August 31, 2024, until September 9, 2024. Parishioners are encouraged to visit the church website for more details.
Family Ministry Invitation
The Family Ministry invites all civilly married couples or those engaged to be married to join the 30th Church Wedding on Monday, December 2, 2024. Interested couples can register at the Parish office or contact John Doringo at 050 799 4836 for more information.
Filipino Community (FILCOM) Announcements
Couples for Christ: Chapters 1B2, 1A1, 2C2, and Singles For Christ 1B2 invite everyone to join their Christian Life Programs. Details are available on the church’s screen.
El Shaddai Prayer Group: The group invites all Filipinos to their Diocesan Assembly after the Holy Mass. Details are available on the church’s screen.
Filipino Youth Ministry: The ministry invites youth aged 20–35 to join and participate in their service activities. More details are available on the church’s screen.
