Overseas Filipinos in the UAE will soon have a one-stop opportunity to process government services as the Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) set up service booths at FILEXPO 2025 on October 19, 2025, at The Agenda, Dubai Media City. The event runs from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., with agency services open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
SSS services for members and pensioners
The SSS booth will accommodate various requests including member and pensioner data change, annual confirmation of pensioners (ACOP), and membership verification and inquiries. Assistance will also be provided for My.SSS online accounts.
Participants must bring the original and photocopy of their passport or any two valid Philippine-issued IDs. Those adding beneficiaries need to present the marriage contract and birth certificate (PSA or LCR issued). Only the first 75 registrants will be accepted for SSS transactions.
Pag-IBIG Fund services at the expo
Pag-IBIG will handle new member registrations, Modified Pag-IBIG 2 (MP2) enrollments, and membership, records, and accounts services. Attendees may also submit multipurpose loan and provident benefit claim applications, as well as request housing loan consultations and assistance on requirements.
Applicants are required to bring original and photocopies of their passport and Emirates ID, plus copies of their marriage and employment contracts. As slots are limited, only the first 75 registered participants will be accommodated.
OWWA to assist OFWs with inquiries
OWWA Dubai will be available to entertain queries from overseas workers and distribute brochures and pamphlets about programs and benefits. The office clarified that no membership payments or ID issuance will take place during the event. The first 150 registrants will be entertained.
