Dubai’s Filipino community was treated to a flavorful celebration on Labor Day as Spice Grill officially opened its newest branch in BurJuman. The launch doubled as an “Activation Night,” filled with good food, familiar faces, and a tribute to the hardworking Filipino workforce in the UAE.
The event gathered prominent community leaders and personalities including Josie Conlu, Asiyah Monjardin, and Bobbie Carella. Popular figures like Boy Dubai, Mico Banua, Keith Perena of Emirates Love Philippines, and Tag 91.1’s KeriBelle also lent star power to the evening, bringing life and excitement to the crowd.

Spice Grill co-founder Lourds Adalla-Evertse introduced the restaurant’s latest menu additions, spotlighting beloved Filipino breakfast staples such as tapsilog, bangsilog, tocilog, and a vegetable omelette. “We’re excited to share these new breakfast dishes that bring a taste of home to our kababayans in Dubai,” she shared.
