Sunup Talented Children Development Center, a leading institution for special needs education in the UAE, is opening its doors for a specially designed summer camp for children with autism this June and July.
The center’s upcoming summer program, scheduled from June 9 to 17 and July 1 to 9, 2025, aims to prepare children of determination for the next academic year through an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Known for its innovative and child-centered approach, Sunup offers a variety of developmental activities in this camp, including the Math Numicon Approach to improve numerical understanding, Tomatis sound and music therapy, physical sports activities for sensory and motor development, and arts-based therapeutic sessions to boost emotional expression and creativity. Its spacious setting—carefully designed to reduce overstimulation—also provides a calming atmosphere that supports children with sensory processing challenges, making it a safe and nurturing space for learning and growth.
Sunup Talented Children Development Center is not new to recognition. It recently received the Excellence in Special Education for Children with Determination Award at the Global Filipino Icon Awards 2025 in Dubai. The award underscores Sunup’s unwavering commitment to delivering quality and compassionate education to children with special needs.
The center operates under the leadership of Chancellor Engr. Li Schonberg, a pioneer in robotics-assisted therapy and co-founder of QIWI Robotics and Technologies Group. With a strong emphasis on tailored programs, the school ensures every child receives focused and nurturing support from qualified special education professionals.

Sunup also champions progressive methods such as kinesthetic learning through its KIEP (Kinesthetic Individualized Education Program) and cutting-edge integration of AI-powered robotics into therapy sessions—making it one of the most advanced centers in the region for autism care.
The opening of the summer program was graced by Pamela Amor Calinog, a neurodivergent mom and founder of Ausome Family Journey, an initiative committed to empowering families through advocacy, events, and inclusivity.
