Abdu Rozik, a social media sensation and singer, has postponed his wedding originally set for July 7th due to a major career opportunity. He has been offered his first-ever title boxing match, scheduled for July 6th at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai.
“I never imagined that I’d get the chance to fight for a title in my life,” Abdu told The Times of India.
“After so many good things happening this year for my career and my love life, unfortunately, I have to postpone the wedding as this match will give us huge financial security for the future.”
Abdu’s fiancée, Amira, fully supports his decision. “It’s the first-ever title for someone my size, and I have a heavy training camp to endure as well these days,” Abdu explained, grateful for her understanding.
The new wedding date has not been announced, but Abdu reassured fans that the celebration will take place soon after the match. Currently, he is dedicated to his training, aiming to make history in the boxing ring. As the WBC and IBA ambassador, Abdu hopes to inspire others in the sport who have disabilities.
