Filipino artist Christian Gloria captured the attention of social media users after sharing his latest commissioned work, a detailed diorama titled “Munting Palengke.” Gloria posted photos of the finished piece on his Facebook page, expressing his satisfaction with the project, which he announced with the caption, “Finally Done! 😃’MUNTING PALENGKE’ Diorama commissioned.”
The artist utilized various materials, including Sintra Board, Foam Board, Wood Plank, Popsicle Sticks, aluminum from tin cans, resin, air-dry clay, metal strings, bonsai wires, thread, fabrics, cardboard, papers, prints, plastics, and other recyclable items. He completed the piece by painting it with acrylics, bringing the miniature market scene to life.

When asked by a Facebook user about the time required to create the diorama, Gloria revealed that it took him a month of working day and night to complete the piece.
The post garnered widespread admiration, with users praising Gloria’s craftsmanship and attention to detail. Comments flooded in, with one user exclaiming, “Ang galing ah! Ang colors, ang details. Parang naaamoy ko na nga. Galing! [It’s so good! The colors, the details. I think I can smell it. Brilliant!].” Another user remarked, “Grabe kalupet naman niyan!!!! 🔝🔝🔝 [Wow, that’s awesome].”
In addition to diorama creation, Gloria is also known for his paintings and artworks made with ballpoint pens or colored pencils. The month-long effort he dedicated to the diorama clearly paid off, as his work continues to receive widespread acclaim online.
