A minor earthquake, measuring 1.9 on the Richter scale, was recorded in Al Halah, UAE, on Friday night at 9.57pm local time.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology, the quake occurred at a depth of 5 kilometers and was slightly felt by residents.
There have been no reports of damage as the earthquake passed without any effect on the area.
