Singapore Changi Airport has once again claimed the top spot as the world’s best airport, according to the 2025 Skytrax World Airport Awards. This marks the 13th time Changi has taken the prestigious title, reaffirming its global reputation as more than just a transport hub.
Known for turning layovers into memorable experiences, the airport boasts unique features such as the 10-story Jewel complex, a 40-meter indoor waterfall, a butterfly garden, cinemas, spas, and even a dinosaur-themed park. It also took home several other awards, including World’s Best Airport Dining, Best Airport Washrooms, and Best Airport in Asia.
The awards were based on surveys of passengers across 565 airports worldwide, evaluating everything from customer service to amenities. Qatar’s Hamad International Airport came in second, followed by Tokyo Haneda, Incheon, Narita, and Hong Kong—all representing strong performances from Asia.
Meanwhile, Dubai International Airport secured the 11th spot on the global list. Though not in the top 10, DXB continues to be one of the world’s busiest and most influential airports, serving as a major gateway between the East and West.
