The Singapore-Dubai corridor has gone dark on Singapore Airlines’ network, with the carrier pulling both directions of the route for nearly ten days as conflict across the Middle East shows no sign of abating.
Flights SQ494 outbound from Singapore and SQ495 returning from Dubai are grounded across the entire period from February 28 to March 7, 2026. The airline acknowledged that the rapidly shifting situation could affect additional services beyond these two flight numbers.
Passengers whose bookings fall within the cancellation window are being offered a choice between alternative routing on other available flights or a full refund covering the unused portion of their ticket. Those who purchased directly through Singapore Airlines can submit a claim via the airline’s Assistance Request Form. Travellers who booked through a third party — whether a travel agent or a partner carrier — are directed to contact that party for resolution.
The airline has urged all customers to ensure their contact information is current, either through the Manage Booking function on its website or by subscribing to mobile flight status notifications, so that any further schedule changes reach them promptly.
Singapore Airlines posted the advisory on March 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM Singapore time, noting that the geopolitical environment remains fluid and that additional disruptions to its broader network cannot be ruled out.
