Filipino singing enthusiasts are invited to showcase their vocal talents in the upcoming “Kantahang Pinoy” amateur singing competition, which will take place at Lulu Hypermarket, Satwa, on May 31, 2025. The event is organized in cooperation with The Global Filipino Magazine and promises a total of AED 6,000 worth of gift vouchers for the top three winners.
The competition will award the grand champion with AED 3,000 in gift vouchers, while the second and third-place winners will receive AED 2,000 and AED 1,000 in gift vouchers, respectively.
A pre-qualifying round has been launched to ensure the best talents are chosen for the main event. Aspiring singers are required to submit a one-minute acapella video of themselves performing via an online registration form, which can be accessed here: https://forms.gle/3rMz3Ct4tgQaTzc26.
Submissions will be reviewed by the organizing team, and only those who receive a confirmation message from The Global Filipino Magazine will be eligible to perform during the live competition.
The registration portal will close on May 20, 2025, giving interested participants ample time to showcase their talent. Aside from the main competition, the event will also feature exciting prizes and gifts for the audience, making it an engaging experience for everyone attending.
Lulu Hypermarket, Satwa, known for its support of community initiatives, is expected to provide an excellent venue for aspiring Filipino singers to demonstrate their talent on stage.
