Sheikh Hamdan joins UAE recruits for Iftar, praises their dedication to national service

Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum joined national service recruits for Iftar at the Sweihan Training Centre in Abu Dhabi. The gathering, held during the Holy Month, aligns with the UAE’s ‘Year of Community’ initiative, aimed at strengthening national unity and fostering a sense of responsibility among the youth.

Accompanied by Major General Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, and other senior officials, Sheikh Hamdan commended the recruits for their discipline, dedication, and commitment to national service. He emphasized that their training not only prepares them for challenges but also strengthens the nation’s defence and instills values of loyalty and sacrifice.

He praised the recruits for embodying the spirit of service, stating that national service is both an honour and a responsibility that contributes to the UAE’s stability and progress. Sheikh Hamdan expressed pride in the youth’s patriotic spirit, which upholds the country’s achievements and ensures the UAE’s flag continues to soar high.

Before concluding, he wished the recruits success in their roles, highlighting their crucial role in safeguarding the nation under the leadership of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
