A seven-year-old student, Mohammed Ahnaf, who tragically died in a car accident on Hatta-Lahbab road earlier this week, is being remembered by his family for his ever-present smile and kind nature, Khaleej Times reported.
Ahnaf, a Grade 2 student at a Dubai-based Indian school, was among 12 passengers in a rented vehicle that overturned, leading to his untimely death. His uncle, Tawheed, shared that Ahnaf was “always smiling” and brought joy to everyone around him.
The family is still coping with the loss, particularly Ahnaf’s younger brother, who was also in the accident but has since been released from the hospital. The boys were very close, and the younger brother continues to express his grief over losing his sibling.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident, with initial findings pointing to speeding and driver negligence. Meanwhile, Ahnaf’s family is focused on bringing his body back to Bangladesh to lay him to rest.
