Scam alert: Jennie, Charlie Puth, and Tame Impala not performing at fake Dubai festival

Music fans in Dubai are urged to be cautious after the so-called Nakheland Festival, scheduled for May 23 to 25 at Marmoom in Al Qudra, has been exposed as a scam.

The event made bold claims, teasing a star-studded lineup featuring BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Miley Cyrus, Charlie Puth, Swedish House Mafia, Tame Impala, and Fred Again. It even used promotional materials with the watermark of Live Nation, a globally recognized entertainment company, to make the festival appear legitimate.

However, Live Nation Middle East has officially denied any association with the event. In a public statement, the company clarified that Nakheland is not an authorized event and urged the public to verify ticket purchases through trusted platforms.

“We strongly advise everyone to exercise caution and verify the authenticity of events and tickets by purchasing only from our official partners and authorized ticketing platforms,” the company emphasized.
