Saudi-based skilled OFWs urged to share work experiences in new gov’t survey

The Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Riyadh is calling on Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) under the skilled category—including low-skilled, semi-skilled, and professional workers—to participate in a newly launched online survey aimed at understanding their work experiences in Saudi Arabia.

The five-page survey form, available through this link https://forms.gle/GzuuV1NjktVL8cJYA, is part of MWO-Riyadh’s initiative to gather relevant data that will assist in evaluating the effectiveness and compliance of labor market practices affecting OFWs in the Kingdom.

In a public advisory, the MWO emphasized that the survey responses will remain strictly confidential and will be used solely for research purposes to improve services and protections for OFWs.

The survey focuses on three critical labor indicators:

Insurance compliance

Timely salary payment via the Wage Protection System (WPS)

Pre-termination procedures

Some of the questions featured in the form include job classification (e.g., electrician, driver, cleaner), length of employment in Saudi Arabia, salary disbursement method (bank transfer or cash), and whether wages are consistently paid on time.
