Sara Duterte urges Filipinos to share blessings and pray for national peace this Christmas

Rather than focusing on celebration alone, Vice President Sara Duterte used her Christmas message to draw attention to the needs of Filipinos facing hardship, illness, displacement, and the aftermath of disasters and violence.

In a recorded greeting released on Christmas Eve, Duterte framed generosity as an expression of gratitude, saying the meaning of the season deepens when people extend help to those who are struggling.

She described compassion and kindness as sources of resilience and faith that can strengthen individuals, families, and the country as a whole.

Duterte also called on Filipinos to include prayers for peace and stability in the country as they observe the holiday season.
