Russian YouTuber arrested in the Philippines stirs more trouble during press briefing

Even behind bars, controversial Russian YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy isn’t backing down from his disruptive behavior.

The 33-year-old, known for his prank videos and massive online following of over 10 million subscribers, stirred up fresh drama during a press conference led by Department of the Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla on Monday. Despite being in handcuffs and wearing an orange detainee uniform, Zdorovetskiy grabbed the cap of a police officer beside him and flashed a mocking “L” sign as Remulla detailed the charges filed against him.

The influencer was recently caught on video in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, snatching a security guard’s hat, trying to grab another guard’s firearm, and threatening to rob a woman—all part of what appears to be his signature style of confrontational content.
