Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) recently conducted inspections across the city, resulting in over 1,200 fines for various violations. The infractions included unsafe driving, failure to wear protective gear, and using motorcycles that did not meet technical standards.
The inspections targeted high-traffic areas such as Hessa Street, Za’abeel Street, Jumeirah Street, Downtown, Mirdif, and Motor City. Over 11,000 checks were conducted on delivery drivers, vehicles, and facilities. While it is not specified if the fines were imposed on individual riders or multiple violations by some, the crackdown highlights RTA’s commitment to safety.
