Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has reinstated four dedicated bus routes for Global Village’s 29th season, which launched on October 16, 2024. This move aims to facilitate convenient access to the cultural and entertainment destination.
The bus services connect Global Village with key stations across Dubai: Route 102 from Rashidiya Bus Station, Route 103 from Union Bus Station, Route 104 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, and Route 106 from Mall of the Emirates Bus Station. Buses on Routes 102, 104, and 106 run every 60 minutes, while Route 103 operates with a frequency of 40 minutes. To ensure comfort and safety, the RTA has deployed coach buses for these routes.
In the 2023-2024 season, the Global Village bus service saw a significant increase in usage, with 573,759 passengers served—a 22% rise from the previous year’s total of 448,716.
Additionally, RTA’s tourist abra service has returned to Global Village for the new season. Two electric abras are available to offer guests a scenic experience around the venue’s waterways.
