Actor Daniel Matsunaga and his co-star Gerryl Gaid graced the Dubai premiere of the romantic comedy film “Love in Disguise” on Thursday (April 4). The movie, produced by Impact Creation Films and Siklab Pinoy, is now captivating audiences at Star Cinemas in Al Ghurair Centre in Dubai and Al Wahda Mall in Abu Dhabi.
During the premiere at Star Cinemas Al Ghurair Centre, Matsunaga and Gaid spoke with Expat Media, expressing their pride in the movie, which they described as “specially made in Dubai by local film creators.”
Gaid shared with Expat Media, “It will put the audience through a roller coaster of emotions,” while Matsunaga emphasized that the film offers a fresh perspective on the lives of Filipino workers living abroad. The screening of the movie will continue in Star Cinemas in Dubai and Abu Dhabi until April 8.
Matsunaga, renowned for his roles in hit movies such as 2019’s “Just a Stranger” and 2016’s “Be My Lady,” is a model and actor. His co-star, Gaid, is a Dubai-based model and actress.
The premiere night saw the presence of distinguished guests including Philippine Ambassador to the UAE Alfonso Ferdinand Ver, Philippine Consul General-designate Marford Angeles, and major sponsors like Mary Grace Alzate, owner of Miss Fab Jewellery.
