Kapamilya actor Richard Gutierrez has revealed that he and his wife, Sarah Lahbati, are in the process of annulment. The announcement came during an interview with talent manager Ogie Diaz, where the Incognito star opened up about their current situation.
Richard and Sarah, who tied the knot in 2020 after years of being together, decided to part ways in 2024. Despite their separation, the former couple remains committed to co-parenting their two children, Zion and Kai.
“May equal time kami with our kids. Parang nag co-co-parenting kami and ang priority namin is to make sure that the kids live a good life, a happy life,” Richard shared. He emphasized that their children’s well-being is at the center of their efforts. “Ang importante sa amin ay ang mga bata.”
While he opted not to delve into the specifics of their separation, Richard highlighted the importance of moving forward. “At this point, nakamove forward na yung both parties,” he said, adding that he wants to start 2025 with peace and happiness.
When asked about his wish for Sarah, Richard expressed nothing but goodwill. “Sana maging masaya siya sa lahat ng nangyayari or decision niya… kapag happy siya, makikita ng kids yun,” he said.
