For those staying in the UAE, New Year’s Eve promises iconic celebrations, from the breathtaking fireworks at the Burj Khalifa to cooler mountain escapes at Jebel Jais, where temperatures are 10 degrees lower than at sea level. Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah are particularly favored for ringing in 2025, with their popularity soaring by 120% and 240%, respectively.

Meanwhile, many UAE travelers are seeking international experiences to end the year in style. London and New York are the top choices for overseas travel, with demand surging by over 300% for London. European cities such as Paris, Vienna, and Istanbul are also gaining traction, while destinations like Tokyo, the Maldives, and Singapore have seen a spike in interest for long-haul trips.

Expedia’s data shows December 23 as the most popular travel date for the festive season, while December 28 is the priciest.
