During the early hours of Saturday morning, some residents in the UAE experienced tremors as the National Centre of Meteorology reported a magnitude 2.8 earthquake.
The quake occurred at 3:03 am local time off the coast of Khor Fakkan, at a depth of 5km.
According to the NCM, although tremors were felt, the earthquake had no significant impact in the country.
