As part of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, renowned translator Anton Hur is set to offer unique insights into the meteoric rise of the global K-pop sensation BTS. The festival, a cornerstone event organized by the Emirates Literature Foundation, is known for bringing together luminaries from the literary and entertainment spheres. Hur’s session, aptly named “Beyond the BTS Story,” promises an intimate exploration of the band’s journey and cultural impact.
Scheduled for 4 February from 5pm to 6pm, the session will delve into BTS’s decade-long path to becoming a global musical juggernaut. Anton Hur, acclaimed for his translation of Myeongseok Kang’s definitive and authorized biography of BTS, will lead the session. His expertise and close connection to the band’s story position him uniquely to shed light on the nuances behind their stratospheric success.
