The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted more rain for today, particularly in the eastern and southern regions of the country, with showers potentially continuing through Sunday.
On Friday, some areas experienced rain mixed with ice pellets, but it remains uncertain if similar weather will bring hailstones again today. While parts of the country will see rain, most regions are expected to have clear to partly cloudy skies.
Winds are anticipated to be light to moderate, ranging from 15 to 30 km/h, but could pick up to 40 km/h, leading to dusty conditions. Temperatures could soar to 47 degrees Celsius in some parts of Abu Dhabi and 42 degrees Celsius in Dubai. The Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are expected to have light wave activity.
