Rain and winds expected in parts of UAE

The UAE is gearing up for a change in weather with expectations of rain in several areas, accompanied by winds strong enough to cause blowing sand. The forecast indicates a mix of partly cloudy skies across the nation, with a particular focus on the formation of convective clouds over the northern and eastern regions, including over the islands.

These cloud formations are likely to bring rainfall, adding a much-needed respite from the usual arid conditions. In terms of temperatures, residents can expect a warm day with highs reaching around 31°C in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, while the nighttime temperatures are predicted to drop to lows of 22°C and 23°C respectively.

Wind conditions will range from light to moderate across the UAE, but these winds are potent enough to lift dust and sand, affecting visibility and air quality. Therefore, residents and visitors are advised to take necessary precautions, especially when traveling or spending time outdoors.

Marine conditions are also expected to be slightly turbulent. The Arabian Gulf will experience slight to moderate seas, while the Oman Sea will remain comparatively calmer. Mariners and beachgoers are advised to stay updated on the latest weather reports and take necessary safety measures.
