A taxi driver in Ajman is being hailed as a hero after stepping in just in time to save an elderly man from a potential road accident in the Mushairif area.
Shah Omar’s swift reaction caught the attention of authorities, earning him praise and recognition from the General Command of Ajman Police. His quick thinking prevented what could have been a tragic incident, prompting officials to describe his deed as both courageous and deeply humanitarian.
Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Mohammed Al Matroushi, Head of the Traffic Engineering Department, lauded Omar’s decisive action, saying it embodies “noble human values and a strong sense of social responsibility.” He stressed that such exemplary behavior not only ensures public safety but also strengthens the spirit of cooperation within the community.
