The document, disclosed by the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations, and Gender Equality, was received by Atty Marie Dinah Tolentino Ferrer, the KOJC legal counsel.

According to the subpoena, issued under the authority of Section 17 of the Rules of Procedure Governing Inquiries in Aid of Legislation of the Senate, Pastor Quiboloy is required to appear before the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations, and Gender Equality to provide testimony under oath regarding the subject matter under inquiry. The hearing is scheduled for 10:00 AM.

The subpoena, delivered to Quiboloy’s Davao City address, was received on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 1:30 PM. Despite this development, there has been no indication from Quiboloy’s camp regarding his participation in the hearing.

Senator Risa Hontiveros, chairperson of the committee, has not yet issued a statement regarding Quiboloy’s subpoena. However, prior to its receipt, Hontiveros emphasized the importance of Quiboloy’s personal attendance at the hearing, warning that failure to comply could result in his arrest.
