Qatar’s armed forces shot down another round of incoming missiles Saturday, with the Ministry of Defense declaring that none of the projectiles reached Qatari soil.
The ministry credited the successful intercepts to coordinated efforts across relevant authorities and what it described as sustained operational readiness. According to the official statement, forces acted immediately upon detection, following a pre-approved response plan.
The third wave targeted multiple areas across the country, the ministry said, without specifying the origin of the attacks or identifying those responsible.
Officials sought to project confidence in the country’s defensive posture, stating that the armed forces hold the full capabilities and resources needed to counter any external threat. The security situation, the ministry said, remains stable and under control.
Amid what appears to be an ongoing threat environment, the ministry urged the public to disregard rumors and turn exclusively to official sources for updates, asking citizens, residents, and visitors to follow guidance from security authorities.
