President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed extended his heartfelt greetings to the nation and the global Muslim community on the occasion of Eid Al Adha. In a social media message, he conveyed his wishes, saying, “I wish my brothers, the Rulers of the Emirates, citizens and residents of the UAE, and Muslims around the world a blessed Eid Al Adha. May God grant peace to all and bring us together in the spirit of harmony and unity.”
In addition to his public message, President Sheikh Mohamed held phone conversations with several regional leaders. He exchanged Eid best wishes with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain. The leaders expressed their hopes for good health, happiness, and prosperity, praying for continued well-being and stability in their nations and across the Arab and Muslim world.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also shared his festive greetings. On the platform X, he posted, “Muslims gather in the purest and most exalted assembly on the face of the earth… on the plains of Arafat [today],” along with illustrations of himself praying and performing the pilgrimage.
