President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Marcos marked their 31st wedding anniversary with a cozy celebration in La Union, as shared on their social media accounts on Sunday.
In a snapshot posted by the First Lady, the couple appeared relaxed in casual attire, capturing a moment of togetherness with a selfie. Mrs. Marcos’ caption expressed the joy of spending quality time with her husband, stating, “There’s nothing like spending quality time with your better half. Best weekend ever!” She added, “31 years and counting…”
The couple tied the knot on April 17, 1993, in Italy, and have since welcomed three sons into their family: Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos, Simon Marcos, and Vincent Marcos.
Addressing recent rumors about their relationship, the First Lady dismissed any speculation of discord, affirming that they are beyond petty conflicts at this stage of their lives.
President Marcos Jr. is set to resume his official duties at Malacañang on Monday to welcome the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad al Thani, who is on a two-day state visit to Manila.
