The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) – PRC Regional Office I, conducted the “ STEP: Strengthening Training, Education & Professionalism, A CPD Info Drive for OFWs across the Middle East and in the Philippines. The program started with a Welcome Remarks by no other than Atty. Arl Ruth B. Sacay-Sabelo, Regional Director of PRC Region I. Followed by Important provisions of the CPD Law, and its amended IRR by Dr. Rosa Victoria C. Quinto, Supervising Professional Regulations Officer. The latest updates and salliet PRC/PRB and CPDC issuances for Professionals was discussed by Dr. John Adrian J. Malagotnot, Chief Professional Regulations Officer. While the continuation of the above topics was further discussed by Mr. Jordan D. Garcia, Supervising Professional Regulations Officer. Introduction of CPD Accreditation System (CPDAS) – Registration, Monitoring and Utilization by Mr. Jothniel M. Ganancial, Administrative Officer V. And lastly the events ended with a CPD FAQs and Q & A Portion to close the program. The event was hosted by Ms. Sushmita D. Biason, Administrative Officer II. More than 170 participants took part on this online Zoom event across different professions like accountants, architects, engineers, nurses, teachers, social workers, psychologist, librarians, veterinarians and a lot more.
