Prada ends partnership with Kim Soo-hyun amid ongoing controversy

Luxury fashion brand Prada has officially cut ties with South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun, just three months after naming him as its brand ambassador.

The Italian fashion house ended Kim’s contract on March 14, and by mid-April, introduced MEOVV member Gawon as his replacement.

The move follows a wave of public backlash, most recently sparked by an ad featuring Kim that appeared at a subway exit in Seoul’s Hongdae Station. The display drew sharp reactions online, with many criticizing the actor’s continued public presence.

Kim has been under intense scrutiny over allegations linking him to the grooming and harassment of the late actress Kim Sae-ron—claims he strongly denied during a press conference held in Seoul on March 31.
