The Philippine National Police (PNP) confirmed that a P14 million reward will be given to those who provided valuable information about Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and four of his associates.
Despite reports that Quiboloy voluntarily surrendered to authorities following the issuance of his arrest warrant, the PNP has assured that the reward remains intact.
PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo shared that they have already discussed the matter with Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos, PNP Chief Police General Rommel Marbil, and Police Regional Office 11 Director Police Brigadier General Nicolas Torre III.
“The P14 million reward will be given to informants who cooperated with the PNP and other law enforcement agencies to facilitate Quiboloy’s immediate capture,” Fajardo stated during a press briefing.
However, the PNP emphasized that the identities of the informants will not be disclosed for their safety. “We cannot reveal who they are or how many they are because their lives are at risk,” Fajardo added.
The reward includes P10 million for Quiboloy and P1 million each for his four associates. Despite public interest, Fajardo reiterated that the informants’ security takes priority over revealing their identities.
When asked if KOJC members were among those who provided information, Fajardo responded, “I cannot confirm that, sorry.”
