Pinas Cargo expands reach with new branch opening in Doha, Qatar

Pinas Cargo, a trusted name in balikbayan box services from the UAE to the Philippines, has officially extended its reach to Qatar with the opening of a new international branch in Al Wakrah, Doha.

The launch marks a major milestone for the company as it strengthens its mission to serve Filipinos abroad with reliable and heartfelt service. The opening ceremony gathered key members of the Filipino-Qatari community, including Philippine Ambassador to Qatar, H.E. Mardomel Celo D. Melicor, and Fr. Rodel Aklan, along with business leaders, influencers, and representatives from the Pinas Group of Companies.

The event included a blessing of the new facility and a program that paid tribute to Pinas Cargo’s humble beginnings. Founded in 2014 by entrepreneur Marlyn Castro, the company started in Dubai with just three staff members. It has since grown to over 360 employees across the UAE and the Philippines, with a fleet of 32 trucks and a presence in every Emirate.

“Our growth has always been rooted in the trust of the Filipino people,” said Ms. Castro, Founder and CEO. “Today, we bring that same commitment and excellence to our kababayan in Qatar.”

The new branch, located in Building 40, 91 Zone, Street 3119, Al Wakrah, is expected to serve as a convenient hub for Filipinos in the area. It will be led by Mr. Eingelbert Losito, a longtime logistics expert and Pinas Cargo veteran.

More than a logistics company, Pinas Cargo is part of a larger ecosystem under the Pinas Group of Companies, which includes ventures in beauty, travel, gold investment, floral arrangements, and cleaning services—each focused on uplifting the lives of OFWs and their families.

As Ms. Castro noted, “The Qatar opening is a celebration of our mission—and a promise of more to come.”
