The seventh season of Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) has unveiled its new judging panel, featuring actress Kathryn Bernardo, actor-singer Donny Pangilinan, and comedian Eugene Domingo. They join veteran judge Freddie M. Garcia (FMG), who has been a part of the show since its debut in 2010.
This announcement follows the news that Robi Domingo and Melai Cantiveros-Francisco will host the season, taking over from Billy Crawford and Toni Gonzaga, who had hosted the show seven years ago.
Eugene Domingo shared that the new panel is the “perfect combination” for identifying Filipino talent, with FMG representing authority, Kathryn bringing heart, Donny representing the youth, and her own role adding fun to the mix. Kathryn called her new role as a judge a fresh challenge, while Donny expressed excitement about joining PGT and learning from the experience.
Pilipinas Got Talent has a history of showcasing incredible Filipino talent, with past winners including Marcelito Pomoy, Jovit Baldivino, and the Maasinhon Trio.
