The race to the 73rd Miss Universe crown is officially underway, with the Miss Universe Organization now allowing fans worldwide to vote for their favorite candidates. The top-voted contestant will secure a coveted spot in the semi-finals, moving one step closer to the crown.
“Less than a month remains until the 73rd MISS UNIVERSE Competition, and voting is down to the wire!” the organization announced, emphasizing the urgency of the public’s role.
To show support for Chelsea Manalo, representing the Philippines, fans can download the official Miss Universe app. Once installed, users can search for “Philippines” and select Chelsea’s profile to vote. Voting packages range from PHP 49 for three votes to PHP 9,990 for 1,000 votes, with payment options available in the app.
The competition, set for November 17 in Mexico (Philippines time), will be hosted by Mario Lopez, with renowned Brazilian artist Romero Britto, designer Eva Cavalli, 1978 Miss Universe Margaret Gardiner, and Telemundo host Jessica Carrillo on the selection panel. Additionally, the Voice for Change 2024 Silver and Gold winners will be chosen by a separate committee, including Ana Barbara Coimbra, Fahsai Paweensuda Drouin, and R’Bonney Nola Gabriel.
