The Philippines has been named the 11th most AI-ready country in the world, according to the inaugural World AI Index by the Worldwide Independent Network of Market Research (WIN). The country scored 54.7 out of 100, surpassing the global average of 51.6.
Despite the strong global ranking, the Philippines placed fourth lowest among Asia-Pacific countries, trailing behind regional leaders such as China (70.4), India (69.1), and Mexico (62.0).
The index measured countries’ understanding and readiness for artificial intelligence technologies across seven indicators: usage frequency, trust, efficiency, interest, comfort, usability, and acceptance.

Based on the study, the Philippines recorded its strongest scores in efficiency (61.9), usability (59.5), and social acceptance (54.7). However, it fell short in usage (34.2), comfort (50.3), and trust (54.5), indicating that while Filipinos see AI as beneficial, they have yet to fully integrate and rely on it in daily life.
