Lauren Hoffman’s campaign in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games remains strong.
The Filipina athlete will have another chance to advance to the semifinals of the women’s 400m hurdles after finishing 8th in Heat 4 of the qualifiers on Sunday at the Stade de France.
Hoffman clocked in at 57.84 seconds, placing her 37th overall out of 40 competitors.
Earlier, John Cabang also kept his Olympic hopes alive by advancing to the repechage round of the men’s 110m hurdles. Cabang placed 6th in Heat 1 with a time of 13.66.659 seconds, ranking 32nd overall out of 40 athletes in the qualification round.
