Philippine Embassy in UAE keeps crisis desk open through Eid Al Fitr break

Filipinos in the UAE who need urgent help from their embassy will still have somewhere to turn this week, even as the mission observes the Eid Al Fitr holiday.

The Philippine Embassy announced it will be closed on Thursday and Friday, March 19–20, 2026, in keeping with the Eid Al Fitr observance. Regular operations are set to resume on Monday, March 23.

Despite the holiday closure, the embassy’s Assistance-to-Nationals section will continue operating through the break, citing the ongoing crisis situation in the region.

Filipinos needing help can reach the section by call, SMS, or WhatsApp. OFWs may contact +971 56 270 9157, while non-OFW nationals have a separate line at +971 504438003. The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration desk is reachable at +971 54 557 2121, contract verification at +971 54 725 8482, and consular and other concerns at +971 50 813 7836.

Those who prefer written communication may reach the embassy at abudhabi.pe@dfa.gov.ph or the Migrant Workers Office at mwo_abudhabi@dmw.gov.ph.
