Philippine Embassy in Bahrain to hold first Lingkod Kababayan Friday on January 9

The Philippine Embassy in Manama announced that the first Lingkod Kababayan Friday for the year will be held on Friday, 9 January 2026.

Launched under the leadership of Ambassador-Designate Gines Jaime Ricardo D. Gallaga, the initiative provides access to a wide range of consular services, including passport processing and renewal, civil registry services, notarial services, Assistance to Nationals (ATN), and Overseas Voting registration. Services are also made available by partner agencies such as the Migrant Workers Office (MWO), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and the Social Security System (SSS).

The primary objective of Lingkod Kababayan Friday is to ease access to essential government services, particularly for kababayans working long hours, while reducing the need for multiple visits to the Embassy.

The initiative continues to receive positive feedback from the Filipino community in Bahrain as a meaningful effort to enhance service delivery and strengthen support for overseas Filipinos.
