The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai is inviting Filipinos to experience “Museo sa Konsulado,” a special cultural event featuring the renowned Spectro Lucid Gallery by acclaimed Filipino artist and curator Carlo Garrido. The event will take place this Friday, January 10, 2025, at 2 PM at the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai.
This initiative is part of the Consulate’s “Labindalawa” program, a series of 12 cultural and community events leading to the grand celebration of Philippine Independence Day in June 2025. “Labindalawa” aims to provide Filipino artists in Dubai and the Northern Emirates with a platform to showcase their creativity while fostering pride in Filipino culture and contributions to the UAE’s vibrant art scene.
The Spectro Lucid Gallery will headline the event, presenting a stunning collection of works that blend surrealism with contemporary art. Featuring vivid palettes, intricate symbolism, and thought-provoking compositions, the exhibit offers visitors an immersive journey into the depths of artistic expression.
