Philippine Business Council-Dubai joins IFEX 2025 to champion Filipino food on the global stage

The Philippine Business Council – Dubai and Northern Emirates (PBC-DNE) is proudly representing Filipino entrepreneurs in the UAE at this year’s International Food Exhibition (IFEX) Philippines, the country’s biggest B2B food trade event, happening from May 22 to 24, 2025, at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City.

The council, through its League of Food and Beverage Entrepreneurs subcommittee, joins over 700 exhibitors and thousands of trade buyers in showcasing the depth and innovation of Filipino cuisine and food products to the global market.

The opening day was marked with a vibrant celebration that underscored the growing influence of the Philippine food industry worldwide, bringing together key players, global delegates, and culinary visionaries. The event features four major exhibit zones, including the FOODPhilippines Hall and the Sustainability Hall, and a co-located Sustainability Solutions Exchange (SSX) conference promoting eco-friendly practices.

Leading the PBC-DNE delegation are Chairwoman Vangie Monjardin and board members Dr. Mary Jane Alvero, Mariben Eustaquio, and Sheila Jean Alcaraz. They are joined by DTI Trade Commissioner Vichael Roaring, along with several PBC members.

“We are honored to represent Filipino entrepreneurs from the UAE and foster connections that bring our local products to international markets,” the council stated.
