Philippine Airlines to launch daily Clark-Busuanga flights starting March 1

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to expand its domestic network by offering daily flights between Clark and Busuanga (Coron) beginning March 1. This upgrade increases the frequency from the current four weekly flights to daily service.

According to PAL, flights from Clark will leave at 3:45 p.m. and arrive in Busuanga at 4:45 p.m., with return flights departing Busuanga at 5:15 p.m. and landing in Clark at 6:20 p.m. The route will be served by the 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft.

The move brings PAL’s total flights to Busuanga to 42 per week, including three daily flights from Manila and two daily flights from Cebu.

“Our upgrade to daily Clark-Busuanga flights will help make fares more affordable and travel more convenient for both foreign and domestic tourists, in time for the summer travel season,” said PAL Express president Rabbi Vincent Ang.

The announcement comes as PAL Holdings Inc. reports strong financial performance, with a net income of $135 million (P8 billion) in the first nine months of the year. The carrier recorded revenues of $2.3 billion (P134 billion) after serving 11.7 million passengers during the period.
