Philippine Airlines launches three weekly nonstop flights from Seattle to Manila

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has made it more convenient to fly to the Philippines with the introduction of three weekly nonstop flights from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to Manila. The new service, which began on October 3, will see flights departing from Manila on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 11:40 p.m., arriving in Seattle two days later at 4:45 a.m. Return flights leave Seattle at 10:40 p.m. on the same days, reaching Manila at 7:15 p.m.

PAL is using its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, offering 42 business class seats and 328 economy class seats. To commemorate the route launch, SEA and PAL held a gate ceremony with a water turret salute.

Port of Seattle commissioner Sam Cho expressed excitement about the new route, emphasizing the importance of the connection for Filipino Americans in the Northwest and its potential to boost business and tourism ties between the two regions.

Seattle is PAL’s eighth destination in North America and marks the airline’s largest U.S. network expansion since it began transpacific flights in 1946. Passengers can also connect from Manila to regional destinations like Cebu, Davao, and major cities in Southeast Asia.
