As the Holy Week approaches from March 24 to 31, 2024, Philippine Airlines (PAL) anticipates a significant increase in air travelers across the Philippines. To ensure a smooth journey, PAL has issued several travel reminders.
Passengers are encouraged to avoid queues by checking in online through the airline’s website or mobile app from 24 hours to 1 hour before their flight. It’s also important to stay within the free baggage allowance and declare items during check-in to avoid delays.
With expected heavy traffic, especially in major cities like Manila and Cebu, travelers are advised to leave for the airport much earlier. For domestic flights at NAIA Terminal 2, check-in three to four hours before departure is recommended, and four to five hours before international flights at NAIA Terminal 1.
Checking the latest flight status on the PAL website and being aware of the terminal and boarding gate are also crucial steps. For international trips, a passport valid for at least six months from the travel date is required, along with the necessary visas, permits, and vaccination cards. For domestic flights, a valid ID is necessary, and the name on the ticket should match the ID.
