Philippine Airlines alerts customers to fake promo scams on social media

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has issued an urgent warning to the public regarding the emergence of fraudulent Facebook pages advertising fake airline promotions. These scam sites have been promoting a PHP168 flight promo and selling suitcases purportedly from PAL for PHP110, both of which are bogus offers.

The airline has made it clear that engaging with these fraudulent sites may lead to the compromise of personal data and urges the public to avoid them. Actions have been taken to deactivate these unauthorized accounts.

For genuine promotions and bookings, customers are reminded to use PAL’s official channels including their website (www.philippineairlines.com), PAL Reservations Hotline, official Facebook page, Viber, WhatsApp, and myPAL Web Chat. When bookings are made through these channels, customers will receive a payment link directly from PAL to complete their transactions.

Philippine Airlines also requests the public to report any suspicious social media activity involving their brand to their hotline or via email for further investigation and action.
